The MagLab is funded by the National Science Foundation and the State of Florida.

Metabolomics

The MagLab has spectrometers that can be used for metabolomics studies (see list below), especially the spectrometers equipped with cryoprobe, which provide higher sensitivity. Some actively developing areas include biomarker identification, automatic mixture analysis, 13C detection, etc. The MagLab is also affiliated with the Southeast Center for Integrated Metabolomics at the University of Florida, which provides state-of-the-art metabolomics services to users in all areas of biomedical and biological sciences.
