We are excited to announce that the 50th edition of the Southeastern Magnetic Resonance Conference (SEMRC) will be held in-person at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Downtown Tallahassee from November 4 – 6, 2022. The SEMRC has a long tradition of bringing together leading scientists to discuss the latest developments in NMR, EPR and MRI, with a focus on exchanges of ideas and recent magnetic resonance research highlights, including new applications and technique development. Particular emphasis is placed on activities in the Southeastern region, with strong participation of young researchers.
Please submit your abstract for your talk by no later than October 14, 2022.
Abstracts should be no longer than one page and submitted via e-mail to semrc@magnet.fsu.edu on the abstract form. Download abstract submission form.
Except for the keynote talks, all talks should be 20 minutes in length (15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions). Keynote talks should be 40 minutes in length (35 minutes with 5 minutes for questions).
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to semrc@magnet.fsu.edu
Registration cancellations made on or before October 14, 2022 will receive a full refund.
Registration cancellations made on or before October 21, 2022, will receive a 50% refund.
There will be no refunds for cancellations made or received after October 21, 2022. Non-attendance does not imply cancellation.

Students applying for a student award must notify the conference coordinator and, an abstract MUST be submitted along with an advisor letter verifying participation and student status.
Deadline for student award applications is 10/14/2022. The number of student awards will be limited, and announcements will be sent out much nearer to the start of the conference. Student awards will cover registration fees and will include a small travel stipend. Student awards do not cover lodging during the conference. Student registration fees have been kept at a minimum to encourage attendance.

All posters should be landscape style, no larger than 6' wide x 4' tall), and would be affixed on boards. Each board will be marked with an ID number. Please check the program for the ID number of your poster, after the program is finalized. Push pins will be available for affixing the posters.
All posters need to be mounted on the designated poster board.
Posters may be set up beginning on Friday, November 4th after 5:00 p.m.
All posters need to be in place by Saturday, November 5th at 3:30 p.m.
Posters must be removed by no later than Sunday, November 6th at 10:00 a.m. Any posters left after this time will be discarded.
